My background in photography...
I'm self-taught. Since 2002 I've worked alongside industry-leading commercial photographers, like award-winning South African photographers Neil Kirby and Rob Till, who mentored me and allowed me to join them on assignments both in the studio and out in the field.
As a print and online journalist in the tech space, I was fortunate to always have access to the latest photography gear – something that let my passion grow without a huge outlay.
Presently I shoot using Fujifilm X cameras and lenses. But since the best camera is always the one you have on you, I occasionally use my iPhone or drone.
